To have an assistant in the portal, you need to configure the following steps:
Validate the prerequisites in the Power BI Admin Portal (you are here).
Contract the model on Azure OpenAI or OpenAI (ChatGPT)
Create a model on Power Embedded
Create an assistant on Power Embedded
An assistant is an artificial intelligence application designed to help users answer questions and provide information efficiently and in a personalized manner.
The assistant uses advanced natural language models, such as the GPT (Generative Pre-trained Transformer), to understand and generate text in a way that mimics human interaction.
The next step is to create an assistant so that the users you allow can view and ask their respective questions.
This menu is extremely important, as it is where you configure and define which users or groups will access and which dataset the assistant will have access to.
To create an assistant, you need to go to the Power Pilot – AI > Assistant > Create Assistant menu.
On this screen, you will be able to configure the following settings:
General: In this menu, you need to define a name for your assistant and choose which model it will be linked to; this model refers to the AI model created earlier.
The field Azure storage account connection string is highlighted. To use the functionality to generate a .CSV file, you need to have a Storage Account in Azure to manage file traffic. If you already have this account, simply fill in the field with the "connection string" value, which can be found in the "Access keys" tab within your Storage Account. You do not need a Storage Account to create an assistant, only if you want to have the option to download a file.
Users: In this menu, you will define which users will have access to the created assistant. If a user is not associated with any assistant, the assistant will not be available to them. Remember that if a user is part of a group to which you grant access, the user will also be able to view the assistant
Groups: In this menu, you will define which groups will have access to the created assistant. If a group is not associated with any assistant, the assistant will not be available to the users of that group.
Dataset: Here, you will choose the dataset with which the associated model will respond to user questions.
