Aiming to offer a multi-level customization level for clients, Power Embedded provides specific features to create different visual identities according to the user accessing the portal.
In the portal, you have your organization, where you can include several companies, as illustrated in the image below:
In scenarios where you want to provide a customized experience for your client, department, or branch, it is possible to create multiple companies and configure everything from the subdomain to the complete visual identity customization for each company.
The association of the user with the company does not influence the user's access permissions to the report, nor with RLS or permissions. It serves only for filtering and controlling the portal's visual identity according to the user's company. If the user is in more than one company or none, the visual identity will be inherited from the organization's general settings.

The "default report viewing type" feature will directly impact the report portal view, i.e., defining the mode in which it will display reports as soon as the user logs in.
Note: If you do not want to incur additional costs with subdomains, you can simply use the existing subdomain and customize only the report viewing portal. When the user accesses, they will be redirected to the configured company.

There are several actions that trigger email sending. To ensure a higher level of customization in delivering these messages, it is possible to configure an SMTP account for your company. To learn more, access the Emails page.
Use this tab to select which users will be associated with the company in question. Remember that this association has nothing to do with permissions but rather visual customization and filters. If the user is associated with no or more than one company, the company customization will not be applied, and the organization's visual identity will be used.
Allows you to associate reports with a company. This association serves only for filters and to facilitate report permission management.
There is no additional cost or limit on the number of companies in the portal.
Additional billing occurs only if you want each company to have a customized subdomain.
The cost is R$ 50 per month for each customized subdomain.
However, it is not mandatory to have a subdomain for each company, unless you really want each company to have its own URL and customized login screen.
You can use the existing subdomain in the organization, create multiple companies, customize with your client's visual identity, which will have a login screen only, but the report portal customization will still be applied.
