# Edit report

**Name** – This field allows you to rename the report.

**Description** – A description is crucial for ensuring the best use of the dashboard's information, as it provides context and guidance on what the data represents, how to interpret it, and what insights can be extracted.

**Report Settings**

**Owner:** This option allows you to assign a person responsible for the report, making it easier for users viewing the report to contact the person in charge.

**Report Catalog:** This is a discovery tool that lists all the reports in your company that users will not have immediate access to.

It allows users to learn about these reports through a description and request access if they are relevant to their daily activities.

It is at the report level that you define whether it will appear in the report catalog or not.

**Groups**

Select which groups will have access to this report. All users who belong to these groups will be able to access the reports. To learn more, visit the Groups page.

**Users**

**Folders**

**Companies**

**Customization**

By default, when a report is imported it is configured with the standard Power BI icon. If you want to insert a thumbnail to make it easier for users to identify the report, use this tab.
